A FEW UPDATES

AND CHANGES

2026 SEASON UPDATES:

We are now accepting Group Rentals for retreat hosts! See our Retreats Tab!

Coffee and Pastries will be served in cafe on Saturday and Sunday mornings only. Bam's Bungalow, Herschel's Suite and Pebbles' Place will be stocked with local eggs and other breakfast offerings for each stay!! Other rooms will be stocked with lite snacks and ALL rooms are supplied with coffee, coffee pot/or Keurig. We are happy to recommend a close breakfast spot that is open during the week. We apologize if anyone finds this inconvenient. As many of our returning guests know, when we took over the property we found out we did not have the proper licensing to cook breakfast. We had to shift to continental style and we really tried to make it work. With rising costs of prepared food, the time and gas spent sourcing local goods, wasted food during the week AND NOT wanting to raise our nightly rates (in fact, we lowered the weekday rate of rooms not stocked with breakfast!), this is our solution.

We found most people take their dogs everywhere, travel with their crates (we also have a couple sizes here for use) or feel comfortable enough to leave dogs in the room with trust they won’t destroy anything or panic. IF you are planning an activity and know that your dog will need to be left alone and are nervous about that, we can happily recommend a dog sitter to come for a visit OR a trusted daycare facility that is down the road. Please send an email to 3bsinn@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to assist with your plans. *Kennels in dog park no longer available.

GROUP DISCOUNTS: If you’d like to meet up with your dog loving friends, we offer a discount on 4 or more rentals. Email us for options!

OUR MISSION and vision

We welcome retreat groups and travelers to this magical space to unwind and reconnect with nature. Our mission is to create a comforting and welcoming environment to relax and simply be. We find the land to be so supportive to healing and hope you feel refreshed after your stay.

A VISION that's going with the flow....

Founded by fellow dog parents who know the joys (and challenges) of traveling with pets, 3 B’s Inn was born out of a desire to create a true haven for dog lovers.

Hurricane Helene in fall of 2024 changed plans for 3B's a bit. Right?! A hurricane in the mountains, wild. Anywho, through personal interests we discovered that 3B's magic is really felt when groups gather to enjoy the land in community.

Therefore, we're opening our door to not just dog parents (though for nightly rentals, you still MUST be traveling with a dog) but also to retreat hosts, healers and small groups.

Like water, we're going with the flow;-)

COMFORT

From cozy beds to spacious grounds, we’re here to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

MEET THE InnkeeperS

We’re Brandon and Mackenzie, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you to 3 B’s Inn! After 15 years of running a swimming pool business in the steamy heat of Florida, we were ready for a change—and let’s just say fate had a hand in bringing us here. One day, Mackenzie stumbled across a listing for a “dog-friendly business for sale in WNC” while daydreaming about cooler weather for our 13.5-year-old bulldog (and any future bulldogs!) and a life far from hurricane season. With one quick text to Brandon—who immediately replied, “Call them NOW!”—we had the wheels turning (or should we say, tails wagging). Fast forward, and here we are, settled into beautiful Gerton, NC, with our dreams unpacked and just in time to experience a hurricane in the mountains too (2024). Gotta laugh a little.

Brandon’s a passionate Georgia Bulldawg fan who’ll greet you with a big smile, a joke, and all the charm. He’s in his element by the campfire and is thrilled by any wildlife sightings our game cameras pick up (yes, critters are our friends here!). Mackenzie’s named most of them already. She’s a dedicated dog mom whose love for pets and people led her straight down this path. She lights up with all the flowers, hummingbirds, and the enchanted forest on our property (where she’s convinced fairies and unicorns dwell!). We miss our three bulldogs in spirit every day, but with our two newly adopted wild pups— a hound and a bulldog— our hearts are fuller than ever.
