A FEW UPDATES
AND CHANGES
HELENE UPDATES: We are excited to share that we’ve been hard at work making repairs since Helene, and while things aren't 100% perfect yet, we couldn’t wait to welcome you back! Our adorable, cozy, and clean rooms are all set for you and your pup! The fenced-in park is ready for fun, and our enchanted forest offers a loop for leashed walks perfect for sniffs. Pond is not perfect yet, but its MUCH better! We've hired a pond company who tends to pond twice a month during warm months.
As many of our returning guests know, when we took over the property we found out we did not have the proper licensing to cook breakfast. We had to shift to continental style and we tried to make it work. With rising costs of prepared food (and NOT wanting to raise our nightly rates), we are no longer serving breakfast at this time. Bam's Bungalow, Herschel's Suite and Pebbles' Place will be stocked with local eggs and other breakfast offerings!!! Other rooms will have be stocked with light snacks such as granola bars/Poptarts. There is a delicious breakfast deli about 10 minutes away that we'd be happy to recommend.
Highway 74A towards Chimney Rock is closed. There will be no direct access to Lake Lure. You'll need to take the long way to Lake Lure and to Hendersonville (it's still a nice drive!) Access to Fairview, Black Mountain and Asheville is clear. The drive is actually quite lovely, driving through the winding gorge roads, rolling green pastures and gorgeous views of mountain peaks.
We'd love for you to stay with us and enjoy the many dog friendly breweries, restaurants and shops that also need support in the surrounding areas.
OUR MISSION and vision
Our mission at 3 B’s Inn is to create an unforgettable, dog-centric experience that fosters genuine connection and relaxation for dogs and their people. We’re here to provide a space where you don’t have to worry about breed restrictions or whether your dog is truly welcome. We believe in creating a place where dogs are celebrated as family, not just as “guests.”
Our vision is to become the go-to destination for dog-loving travelers looking for an escape that feels like home. We’re passionate about redefining what it means to travel with pets, and we’re dedicated to building a community where friendships are formed, memories are made, and tails are always wagging.

A VISION FOR DOG LOVERS, BUILT BY DOG LOVERS
Founded by fellow dog parents who know the joys (and challenges) of traveling with pets, 3 B’s Inn was born out of a desire to create a true haven for dog lovers. We understand the struggle of searching for pet-friendly accommodations that truly welcome dogs— especially big dogs, multiple dogs, or pups with particular quirks.
So here we are, a pet-exclusive, dog-first inn where every guest is guaranteed to feel valued, comfortable, and free to be themselves— furry or not. We’re not just an inn, we’re a community for like-minded travelers who believe that dogs make every experience better.

MEET THE OWNERS
We’re Brandon and Mackenzie, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you to 3 B’s Inn! After 15 years of running a swimming pool business in the steamy heat of Florida, we were ready for a change—and let’s just say fate had a hand in bringing us here. One day, Mackenzie stumbled across a listing for a “dog-friendly business for sale in WNC” while daydreaming about cooler weather for our 13.5-year-old bulldog (and any future bulldogs!) and a life far from hurricane season. With one quick text to Brandon—who immediately replied, “Call them NOW!”—we had the wheels turning (or should we say, tails wagging). Fast forward, and here we are, settled into beautiful Gerton, NC, with our dreams unpacked and a new adventure unfolding!
Brandon’s a passionate Georgia Bulldawg fan who’ll greet you with a big smile, a joke, and all the charm. He’s in his element by the campfire and is thrilled by any wildlife sightings our game cameras pick up (yes, critters are our friends here!). Mackenzie’s named most of them already. She’s a dedicated dog mom whose love for pets and people led her straight down this path. She lights up with all the flowers, hummingbirds, and the enchanted forest on our property (where she’s convinced fairies and unicorns dwell!). We miss our three bulldogs in spirit every day, but with our two newly adopted wild pups— a hound and a bulldog— our hearts are fuller than ever.
