What To Expect

We’ve created this informational page in an attempt to summarize what we are and what we do. It is our hope that you know what to expect prior to visiting our inn so that there are no surprises.
First and foremost, we are a Hybrid Hotel / B&B with a total of only 8 rooms or suites in the Hotel building and 1 private cottage on the property. Our rooms are clean and comfortable, each has its own private entrance and bath and each is dog friendly (no dog fee for first 2 pups, any size, any breed!). Our decor is unique, tasteful and themed. Each morning begins with breakfast (for humans). With our fenced in play area, moss covered walking trail, and pond for swimming, its the perfect spot for you and your dogs to enjoy quality time together.
Please make no "bones" about it, we are not a doggie day care. On our property we provide several dog cabins with a fenced play area as a courtesy for our guests. These are specially designed cabins where you can safely leave your dogs while you are out and about. We created this concept because our own personal travel plans were always compromised. Many places are dog friendly but few are truly dog ready. Because our dog cabins are a unique service, we endeavor to set expectations properly. We cannot risk repairs to rooms after dogs ("not MY dog") have destroyed them, caused themselves injury, or have disrupted the experience for other guests. If you are questioning your dogs behavior while left unattended in a room, please use the dog cabins as a safe, clean and comfortable alternative.

More about this: Each family has exclusive use of 1 private 4x8 room, large enough for multiple dogs, in one of our dog cabins complete with raised bed, water bowl and calming music. The cabins are heated and air conditioned.

We are not boarding or daycare. We do not take your dogs out for exercise or to use the bathroom. The dog cabins are available as a self serve short term facility and if used, it is your responsibility to return for their needs as frequently as necessary. (you know your pups best).
We are NOT a day camp for dogs. We make no promises that other dogs will be social with your dogs, but most often guests will socialize with one another and their dogs have a great time together. If other guests are uncomfortable with your dog(s) for any reason, we ask that you make every effort to respect those feelings. Please be willing to work together to make this a good experience for everyone.
Prior to visiting us you'll be required to complete our "dog profile form" which tells us what we need to know about your dog(s) while they are in our dog cabins. This profile is very helpful because it enables us to learn the nuances of your dog's personality. We ask that when you arrive, you spend just a few minutes with us in order to greet your dog(s) and for them to grow comfortable in their new surroundings. At this time we'll also ask you to share any information with us that you think would be helpful to create the most comfortable experience for you and your dog(s).
We take great pride in the wonderful connection that we have with our guests and look forward to serving you. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. We are here to provide you with the highest possible level of service that we can.
