Welcome...

...Spring! It's official arrival is today at 3B's Inn Bed Breakfast & Biscuits Our ducks are laying, the peepers are starting, flowers are just trying to pop up and we're expecting 70º and sunny for this weekend!

At the Inn we are at just about 3000ft ASL. That's a bit higher than downtown Asheville and right at the top of the Eastern Continental Divide. This can make for cooler evenings and mornings, even in the heat of summer. That's VERY nice for campfires and quite often we don't even needing the air-conditioning.

In talking to guests making reservations this week, folks were asking about temps for this time of year. Below are our Springtime averages.

Avg High / Avg Low

March 59° / 38°

April 68° / 46°

May 75° / 53°

Spring is a GREAT time to visit the Asheville, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure area. Daytime temps are nice and most dog friendly restaurants, breweries, wineries and other places around town have patio heaters for outdoor seating if it's chilly.

So...pack up the pups & come on up!
